Sales Performance Task Menu

     System Specifications:

This  document describes the Sales Performance  System  from Heartland Computer Consultants. This set of programs is  designed to  interface with the Sales Order Entry Task. In  Addition,  this program  is interfaced to the Heartland Telemarketing System  and the Heartland Reporting System.

The  purpose of the Sales Performance System is primarily  to answer  the following questions:

    1. Which Customers are buying a product?
    2. Which Items is each Customer Purchasing?
    3. Which Items are the Salesmen Selling?
    4. Which Salesmen sell an Item?
    5. How Profitable are the Customer Sales?
    6. How are the Salesmen Performing?

These  questions,  and others, are common questions  that  our Customers  have asked us over the last few years. The Sales  Performance System is designed to collect Sales Information and make this information available for On-Screen Inquiry, Printed Reports and Maintenance Data Entry.

The  Data  in the files is built during the  Sales  Update  in Order Entry and/or the Daily Invoice Update in the  Telemarketing System. Once the Sales Performance System has been installed, the updates are all automatic. Should you wish to change the information,  or create additional records, you may use the  Maintenance Screens.

Special Note: The  term "Salesman" is used to refer to those engaged in  the Sales Activity for your company, both Male and Female  "Salespersons".
